Bajan ventas en restaurantes un 30% por falta de turismo extranjero
La cancelación de vuelos de Canadá hacia Mazatlán por la pandemia durante esta temporada de invierno, afectará alrededor de un 30% las ventas en los restaurantes, estimo Rodrigo Becerra Rodriguez.
El presidente de la Cámara Nacional de la Industria Restaurantera y Alimentos Condimentados, manifestó que de noviembre a abril es la temporada fuerte de arribo de turismo americano y canadiense, sin embargo con las restricciones sanitarias esta temporada ha sido poco los que lograron arribar al destino.
"Lo bueno es que hay una comunidad de extranjeros que ya vive aquí y ahora sí que se quedaran porque no tienen sus vuelos de regreso a Canadá, pero obviamente le turismo que llega a los hoteles ha sido fuertemente afectado, por considureinte nos afecta a nosotros y toda la economía del puerto", dijo.
Rodrigo Becerra expresó que no solo los establecimientos del Centro Histórico han resentido esa disminución las diferentes áreas turísticas del destino.
Confió en que con el avance que registra la vacunación en Estados Unidos se vayan relajando las restricciones y esperan que para el segundo semestre del año el panorama empiece a cambiar.
