Llama el Alcalde a ser más estrictos con las medidas preventivas contra el Covid-19
Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres destaca que Mazatlán es de los destinos turísticos con menos casos activos en el país
Mazatlán.- El Alcalde Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres exhortó a los mazatlecos a ser más disciplinados en la aplicación de las medidas preventivas contra el Covid-19, para evitar un nuevo paro de actividades económicas en el puerto durante tres meses.
En la entrega de tres trabajos de rehabilitación de espacios deportivos en la ciudad, el Presidente Municipal aseguró que los porteños sí están cumpliendo con los protocolos de salud, sin embargo, es necesario hacer un poco más por el bien de Mazatlán.
"Mazatlán, acuérdense, principalmente es una ciudad donde vivimos del turismo principalmente, y volver a cerrar nuestro destino turístico por tres meses sería muy doloroso para todos, porque la cuestión de la salud es muy importante, pero también el aspecto económico es igualmente importante, por eso era necesario equilibrar la seguridad sanitaria, pero también la seguridad económica y lo estamos logrando".
Destacó que gracias a los niveles tan bajos de Covid-19 y gracias al buen manejo de la pandemia, el puerto recibe cada día más turismo, incluso hay quienes se muestran interesados en venirse a vivir al puerto.
"Esto no quiere decir que hay que olvidarnos de los cuidados fundamentales, hay que seguir igual o más estrictos si es posible; uso de cubrebocas, hábitos higiénicos, lavado de manos, cuidado con los ojos, es una vía por donde ingresa el Covid; evitar (aglomeraciones) y conservar la sana distancia".
Mazatlán, con 76 casos y en color azul
De acuerdo al informe presentado anoche por la Secretaría de Salud de Gobierno del Estado , el municipio amaneció este día con 76 casos activos de Covid-19 y continúa en color azul del Semáforo Estatal, y sigue en cuarto lugar de los municipios con menos casos en el estado, superado por Culiacán que tiene 528 enfermos, Ahome 182 y Guasave 117.
