Los Mochis, Ahome, Sinaloa, 22 de enero del 2021.- En conferencia de prensa, Hernán Medina Soto, Gerente General de la Junta de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado del Municipio de Ahome, quien fue acompañado por Verónica Félix Espinoza, Gerente Comercial de la JAPAMA, dio a conocer que a partir del 2 de enero del presente año, se comenzó con la aplicación del 50 por ciento de descuento a pensionados y jubilados que cumplen con los requisitos que marca la Ley de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado del Estado de Sinaloa.
Detalló que luego de una reunión que se tuvo el pasado 29 de diciembre con el Consejo Directivo de la JAPAMA, se llegó al acuerdo de aplicar dicho beneficio.
“El usuario sale beneficiado, actualmente la tarifa del cobro le salía en total en un costo de 114 pesos, con el apego a la ley, y el cumplimiento de la ley, nos da un valor de 93 pesos, con lo que el usuario se viene beneficiando, que esto está desde el año 1998 y no lo hacíamos, actualmente lo que estamos haciendo es aplicarlo”, dijo Medina Soto.
En este sentido, explicó que el artículo 50 de la Ley de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado del Estado de Sinaloa, en su segundo párrafo, menciona que tratándose de pensionados o jubilados, quienes acrediten tal situación, usuarios del servicio doméstico y cuyo consumo bimestral sea de hasta cincuenta metros cúbicos, con el acuerdo del Consejo Directivo, se les aplicarán tarifas y cuotas del 50 por ciento por los servicios que prestan las Juntas.
Subrayó que es importante que el usuario comprenda que 25 metros cúbicos está por encima del uso doméstico, ya que este es de 20 metros cúbicos por mes, por lo que los beneficiados tienen además un apoyo de 5 metros cúbicos mensuales.
Informó que el 70 por ciento de estos usuarios cumplen con los requisitos para acceder a dicho beneficio, por lo que invitó al resto de pensionados y jubilados para que se acerquen y poder ver la situación.
Dijo que en el caso de que el usuario tenga un consumo mayor a 25 metros cúbicos en el primer mes, pero en el segundo hay un consumo inferior, deberán acudir a las oficinas de JAPAMA para cotejar el consumo y hacer un ajuste, o bien llamar al área comercial donde también se les atenderá.
Hernán Medina aprovechó para hacer un llamado a la población a tener conciencia en el uso del vital líquido, ya que, dijo, cada día es más difícil tener ese recurso.
