Piden no abusar en precios de pescados y mariscos durante la Cuaresma
El periodo de Cuaresma es muy esperado por los productores y distribuidores de pescados y mariscos, por el repunte en demanda que representa por la tradición, reconoció Evelio Plata Inzunza
El Secretario de Pesca y Acuacultura en Sinaloa, llamó a los pescadores y comercializadores a no excederse en los precios en los que ofertarán sus productos y a la Profeco a regularlos para evitar que se cometan abusos durante la cuaresma.
“Hacer el llamado tanto a pescadores como a los intermediarios, los que compran en playa como los que tiene su puesto en el mercado. Ahorita no tenemos inconformidades, precisamente hoy inicia con miércoles de ceniza, claro ya viene el viernes, viene Semana Santa, se va a incrementar la demanda y estoy bien seguro de que en los próximos va a ver mucho consumo y escasez, eso hará que mucha gente aproveche en incremente los precios”, dijo.
Plata Inzunza expresó que debido a las costumbres de no consumir carnes rojas en este periodo, la oferta y la demanda de pescados y mariscos tiene un incremento.
Precisó que la secretaría de pesca no tiene ninguna facultad legal para regular esa situación, pero aún así hace la invitación a las instituciones encargadas de ese tema para que regulen los precios de productos del mar durante esta cuaresma.

He pointed out that the fisheries secretary has no legal power to regulate that situation, but still invites the institutions responsible for that issue to regulate the prices of sea products during this lent.
