PROTECCIÓN CIVIL CAPTURA UN CAIMÁN Y LO ENTREGA A LA PROFEPA
En las instalaciones de Seguridad Pública Municipal se realizó la entrega a inspectores de la dependencia federal.
Continúa la vigilancia en la ribera del río y la colocación de trampas: Lic. Salvador Lamphar Rodríguez, titular de Protección Civil en Ahome.
Los Mochis, Ahome, Sinaloa. A 6 de febrero 2021.- Elementos de la Coordinación de Protección Civil de Ahome, realizaron la captura de un caimán en aguas del río Fuerte, y lo entregaron a las autoridades de la Procuraduría Federal de Protección al Ambiente (Profepa).
En acto efectuado en las instalaciones de la DGSPYTM, el titular de Protección Civil en Ahome, Lic. Salvador Lamphar Rodríguez, acompañado de su personal, hizo entrega de la especie la cual tiene una longitud de 80 centímetros y que será devuelto a su hábitat natural.
El Inspector Federal de Profepa, Héctor Eduardo Estrella Soto fue el encargado de recibir al caimán, quien aseguró que será devuelto a las aguas colindantes al campo pesquero El Colorado, donde se encuentra su hábitat, donde no ocasione daño a los humanos. “Son especies que se alimentan de lo que encuentran y ahí estará a salvo. Ya hemos capturado varios y se han devuelto a su medio”.
Este reptil fue capturado en días pasados por elementos de Protección Civil de Ahome, cuando efectuaban un recorrido por la ribera del río Fuerte, a la altura del ejido El Bule, sitio en el que también han avistado a un cocodrilo de más de tres metros de longitud.
“Hasta el momento, se han colocado varias trampas para capturar al cocodrilo. Se sigue trabajando intensamente para lograr este objetivo, y proteger a la población civil, por instrucciones del alcalde Manuel Guillermo Chapman Moreno, quien nos brindó todo su respaldo”, manifestó Lamphar Rodríguez.
Protección Civil recibió reportes que han detectado otros reptiles en esa zona del río, por lo que seguirán en alerta continua y atendiendo el llamado la gente.
