Aumentan las ventas en el mercado Pino Suárez
La Serie del Caribe ha permitido que los locatarios del mercado municipal vean un aumento en el número de turistas que viene a realizar compras de souvenirs y algunos alimentos como frutas y comidas preparadas.
Alejandro Ontiveros Arámburo, Secretario de la mesa directiva del mercado José María Pino Suárez, destacó que este lugar histórico siempre ha sido de interés tanto del turismo nacional como extranjero, y ahora con la Serie del Caribe, no ha sido la excepción, porque está siendo muy visitado.
“Debemos entender que son turistas que vienen a la realización de un evento deportivo, vienen al mercado, llevan su suvernirs, sus llaveritos, camisas, playeras, gorras, verdad, se entiende que a eso vienen, a conocer y llevar un recuerdo para sus tierras de regreso”, explicó el locatario del mercado” dijo.
Agregó que el giro que también está presentando aumento en sus ventas, son las fruterías, quienes se ven beneficiados porque el turista compra un poquito de fruta para el transcurso del día mientras andan conociendo otros lugares de interés histórico distintos de la ciudad, que van degustando de una rica fruta o vienen a tomarse un licuado o una agua fresca.
Ontiveros Arámburo explicó que la cuesta de enero los sigue afectando, que aunque es normal año con año, esta vez se vio acentuado con la pandemia de Covid 19.
